To calculate the percentage increase between any two months:

bullet

Subtract the figure for the earlier month from the later month.

bullet

Divide that figure by the figure for the earlier month.

bullet

Multiply the resulting figure by 100.

Example:

((Dec93-Dec92)/Dec92) x100 = % of change

((145.8-141.9)/141.9) x100 = 2.7%
